Biographical information:
Things I've been doing lately:
I attended the University of Georgia and graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences with and emphasis in Microbiology and Entomology. I worked at the Centers for Disease Control until September 2007 and now I am working for The Carter Centers Guinea Worm Eradication Programme and am currently living in Southern Sudan fighting the worm.
My family:
My amazing mom still lives in Springfield on her little farm and is my constant supporter and strength in all that I do. I owe her the world.
Life experiences:
Well I always wanted to work at the CDC and I did that...and I always wanted to work in Africa...and I am currently here in Sudan now. Working in Sudan is the most rewarding experience I have had in my life thus far. I have tried to experience as much as I can in life from sky diving, to scuba diving, and when I return back to America I intend on getting my private pilots license. From there...who knows what will happen
My favorite memories of the good ole days:
Marching band and hanging out and getting into trouble with Davy Minor....those were the days :)
My favorite things now:
I have a severe travel bug. I enjoy scuba diving, rafting, camping, sky diving....but I also love to go shopping! I really enjoy reading and music. I absolutely love to cook and also going out to new restaurants and trying crazy new foods.
My favorite books, movies and music:
Some of my fav books... The Alchemist Dharma Bums Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance Eat Pray Love Celestine Prophecy things of that nature....
I work at:
Southern Sudan
